💰 $24 - $35 per hour
About the role
- Performs a variety of fuel containment tests, equipment integrity tests, and leak-detection tests.
- Conducts inspections of equipment and sites referring to regulations, policies and customer requirements.
- Provides direction, coaching and training to specialists, laborers and sub-contractors.
- Inspects, maintains and donns personal protective equipment.
- Utilizes mobile devices to plan, track and document job data including vehicle maintenance and operation.
Requirements
- Requires a high school diploma.
- 4+ years of experience in the petroleum equipment field or in a related area.
- HAZWOPER 40 certification and State-issued UST Inspector licenses required prior to hiring.
- CDL-B or A license with hazardous waste endorsement preferred.
- Manufacturer's certifications for Automated Tank Gauges, Submersible Turbine Pumps, Pressurized/Mechanical/Electronic line-leak detection preferred.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to perform manual labor, heavy equipment inspection and operation and basic administrative tasks using mobile devices.
- Must have the ability to travel overnight over 50%.
- Must have the ability to be on-call 24-7 for emergency response on a rotational basis.
