About the role

  • Develop Metrics: Create and implement performance metrics to monitor and improve logistics operations.
  • Warehousing Processes: Identify, document and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of 3PL operations, such as improving inventory management, streamlining order fulfilment, invoicing, safety culture, and compliance.
  • Network Analysis: Conduct detailed network analysis to optimize supply chain efficiency and improve customer service.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute warehousing strategic plans to influence efficiency in supply chain operations.
  • Innovation: Develop an automation strategy to reduce costs and improve warehouse efficiency.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, including key metrics and analysis.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify, develop and track new opportunities for optimizing logistics and delivery processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely within Sourcing and business partners to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, analytics, business or related field of study required.
  • 3PL management experience
  • Experience with logistics software and data analysis tools, Microsoft BI
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, warehouse management, or related field
  • Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally; estimated travel 30% or less.
  • Professional certifications such as APICS certifications or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of SAP 6.0/ S4 Hana
