About the role
- The Revenue Recovery Manager is responsible for overseeing all activities related to technical denials, underpayment recovery, and revenue integrity support for our Insource hospital clients.
- Ensure timely and accurate resolution of accounts, drive process standardization, and partner closely with internal and client stakeholders to reduce preventable revenue leakage.
- Accountable for team performance, workflow optimization, analytics interpretation, and the continuous evolution of best practices across the revenue recovery function.
- Lead and develop a team of Revenue Recovery Specialists to meet defined KPIs around denial resolution, underpayment recovery, and productivity.
- Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with deep expertise in hospital AR follow-up, denial management, and billing processes
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory, team lead, or management role, with a proven ability to train, mentor, and lead a team
- Experience working in an outsourced RCM or vendor environment
- Direct experience with underpayment analysis and recovery
- Familiarity with "Pulse" platform or similar workflow management tools
- Proficiency with revenue cycle management software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with client stakeholders.
