About the role
- Screen applications and resumes for non-exempt positions against established criteria
- Conduct initial phone screens with candidates to assess basic qualifications and role match
- Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates, hiring managers, and interview teams
- Prepare and send interview confirmation emails with relevant details and logistics
- Maintain candidate tracking and update applicant status in recruitment systems
- Prepare and distribute offer letters for non-exempt positions under supervision of Talent & Culture Specialist
- Follow up with candidates regarding application status and next steps
- Manage recruitment communication through designated communication channels
- Maintain organized candidate files and recruitment documentation
- Track recruitment metrics and hiring pipeline progress for non-exempt roles
- Update job postings across various platforms as directed
- Coordinate background check and reference check processes
- Ensure compliance documentation is complete for all new hires
- Maintain professional and timely communication with candidates throughout hiring process
- Coordinate with hiring managers on candidate feedback and hiring decisions
- Provide regular recruitment updates to Talent & Culture team and hiring managers
- Respond to candidate inquiries professionally and promptly
- Support internal communication regarding talent initiatives
- Assist with Talent & Culture projects and initiatives as assigned
- Support employee engagement activities and program coordination
- Maintain Talent & Culture department files and documentation systems
- Help track and report on recruitment and retention metrics
- Assist with compliance documentation and record-keeping
- Provide administrative support for team meetings and training sessions
- Perform other Talent & Culture support duties as assigned by Talent & Culture Specialist and/or Director of Talent & Culture
- Backup support for critical recruitment operations when needed
- Support special projects related to organizational culture and talent development
Requirements
- Recruitment experience is required
- Background in administrative, HR, or operations support is ideal
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Proficient in Google Workspace
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Able to work independently in a remote setup
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace
- **Nice to Have:**
- Experience in landscaping, construction, or manufacturing
- Experience with project management or scheduling tools
- Customer service experience
