About the role
- Drive product development from concept through launch for small home appliances and kitchenware.
- Partner with design and sourcing teams to ensure manufacturability and cost efficiency.
- Review and validate engineering specifications, CAD drawings, and material selections.
- Support the DFM process and collaborate with overseas manufacturing partners.
- Oversee product testing, validation, and claims verification.
- Manage documentation, reports, and technical communication across global teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in product engineering for small home appliances, preferably kitchenware.
- Strong knowledge of product development, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in English with strong written and spoken Chinese.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Based in Los Angeles with willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
