About the role
- Design and implement a comprehensive, platform-centric architecture that places artificial intelligence at its core.
- Lead small groups of six to ten engineers in software development and design.
- Review and approve proposed solutions, implement new architectural patterns, and perform design and code reviews of changes.
- Maintain a pulse on the ever-evolving landscape of regulations and laws in Governance domain.
- Prioritize operational excellence by continuously monitoring and optimizing the performance of systems.
Requirements
- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
- Option 2: 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
- Proven track record of leadership in guiding technical teams and individuals in technical capacity.
- Expertise in building enterprise solutions with advance AI/ML.
- Enthusiasm for cultivating a culture of engineering excellence within the team, advancing practices such as continuous delivery, automation, rigorous performance testing, and elevating unit test code coverage metrics.
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices and Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines.
