Business Development Manager

Security Engineer

• Developing our TRE airlock as part of a squad, specifically the ‘airlock checks engine’ and the security checks that will run within this.
• Supporting our product managers with shaping our airlock roadmap, ensuring security items are included alongside non-security features.
• Contributing to developing our airlock policy specifying how to handle the findings from airlock checks.
• Leveraging in-house knowledge to enrich and enhance our SOC capabilities.
• Overseeing and supporting the operation of our various security tools, including Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview suites and Entra ID (previously AAD) for IAM, Identity Governance and Privileged Identity Management.

• Oversee the management of our website and the execution of social media strategies that enhance our online presence, build our brand and set the foundations for strong engagement with key audiences.
• Maintain active monitoring of news and stories about Our Future Health and associated risks and opportunities, adjusting strategies as necessary to maintain public trust and ensure an approach to communications that manages and mitigates our overall reputational risk.
• Lead planning of crisis communications planning and execution, ensuring rapid, accurate, and consistent responses that protect our reputation.
• Guide the creation of compelling content across various channels—including digital platforms, social media, etc. and thought leadership pieces—to effectively convey our story.
• Work collaboratively with and support the marketing teams to understand the stories related to our mission and goals that will support their activities and lead the development of this content.

Events

• Own complete event lifecycle from liaising with conference organisers to post-event follow-up, personally managing booth setup, on-site logistics, and attendee engagement.
• Work with Executive and Science teams to strategically identify new event opportunities, coordinate speaking slots, and ensure seamless presentation delivery.
• Support the Growth Marketing Manager and work with Communications team on pre-event and post-event campaigns to maximise attendee engagement and support lead capture.
• Create webinar timelines for product launches and campaign themes, using webinar platforms and working with Communications on supporting content.

• Provide the technical direction and expertise needed to design, architect, integrate, operate, and govern internal and third-party digital health technologies.

• Our Future Health will be the UK’s largest ever health research programme, bringing people together to develop new ways to detect, prevent, and treat diseases. Diseases like cancer, dementia, diabetes, and heart disease affect the lives of many people in our communities. Our goal is to create a world-leading resource for health research, to improve our understanding and spot the patterns of how and why common diseases start, so treatments can begin sooner and be more effective.
• Our plan is to bring together 5 million volunteers from right across the UK who will be asked to contribute information to help build one of the most detailed pictures we have ever had of people’s health. Researchers will be able to use this information to make new discoveries about human health and diseases. So future generations can live in good health for longer.
• We’re looking for a User Researcher to help shape and optimise how Our Future Health engages with participants. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our products and services are grounded in a deep understanding of user needs, behaviours, and experiences.
• Projects you’ll work on include: Targeted engagement journeys: Designing tailored engagement pathways for participants who are invited to contribute additional health data, take part in further research, or receive personalised health feedback. Your work will ensure these journeys are meaningful, inclusive, and aligned with participant needs.
• Consistency of experience: Collaborating with teams across Our Future Health to embed engagement principles from the very first interaction. You’ll help ensure that participants experience a coherent and supportive journey throughout their involvement with the programme.
• Your duties will include: Lead and conduct user research across the product lifecycle, using qualitative and quantitative methods such as interviews, surveys, diary studies, and ethnographic research.
