About the role

  • Drive the optimization of clinical workflows and operational processes
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrators, and staff to identify inefficiencies
  • Implement evidence-based improvements and support the center’s goals
  • Coach and mentor process improvement efforts that are of moderate difficulty
  • Lead multi-departmental or cross functional process improvement initiatives
  • Analyze workflows, data, and KPIs to pinpoint inefficiencies
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions
  • Develop process maps and documentation
  • Partner with leadership to align efforts with strategic goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, business, industrial engineering, or related field required
  • Master’s degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MPH, MHA)
  • 3-5 years of experience in process improvement required
  • Experienced in a healthcare or clinical setting preferred
  • Experience working in an academic medical center or large hospital system preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma preferred
  • PMP certification or similar preferred
  • Strong analytical and data visualization skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills with heavy emphasis in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint as well as Visio
