About the role
- Drive the optimization of clinical workflows and operational processes
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrators, and staff to identify inefficiencies
- Implement evidence-based improvements and support the center’s goals
- Coach and mentor process improvement efforts that are of moderate difficulty
- Lead multi-departmental or cross functional process improvement initiatives
- Analyze workflows, data, and KPIs to pinpoint inefficiencies
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions
- Develop process maps and documentation
- Partner with leadership to align efforts with strategic goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, business, industrial engineering, or related field required
- Master’s degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MPH, MHA)
- 3-5 years of experience in process improvement required
- Experienced in a healthcare or clinical setting preferred
- Experience working in an academic medical center or large hospital system preferred
- Lean Six Sigma preferred
- PMP certification or similar preferred
- Strong analytical and data visualization skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills with heavy emphasis in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint as well as Visio
