About the role
- Drive field execution and performance across priority retail doors in the West, ensuring strong in-store standards, sell-through, and brand consistency.
- Develop and lead the West region field strategy, including door prioritization, coverage planning, and targeted action plans to improve door-level results.
- Build and maintain strong store-level relationships, partnering with retailer teams to drive visibility, engagement, and results.
- Lead regional reporting and performance recaps, translating trends and store insights into clear action plans and cross-functional recommendations.
- Recruit, coach, and develop field team talent, driving performance, readiness, and accountability across the region.
- Execute and support in-store training and events to drive conversion and customer experience.
- Track and evaluate ROI across regional investments including coverage, training, and events, adjusting strategy as needed.
- Maintain a strong in-store presence across priority doors multiple days per week, balancing execution with planning and reporting needs.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of field sales experience within the beauty industry, including 2+ years in a Regional Sales Manager (or equivalent field leadership) role.
- Proven experience driving results within Ulta and Nordstrom, including strong store-level relationships and field execution.
- Ability to support additional key retail partners (e.g., Bloomingdale’s, BeautySpace, Erewhon, Credo), adapting approach based on each retailer’s environment and expectations.
- Strong sales leadership and performance management skills, with the ability to set priorities, execute focus-door strategies, and improve door-level results.
- Excellent communication skills, including comfort delivering recaps, performance updates, and action plans to internal and external partners.
- Analytical and highly organized, with the ability to manage sales reporting, interpret trends, and translate insights into action across a large territory.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and/or Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to analyze store performance and deliver clear, concise reporting.
- Proven people leadership experience hiring, coaching, and developing teams with accountability for performance, readiness, and culture.
- Entrepreneurial, builder mindset with the ability to create structure and scalable field processes.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral, written, non-verbal, intuitive, psychic et al)
- Must reside in the United States to be considered for this position
