About the role

  • Lead cross-functional launch teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration across all functions.
  • Lead scenario planning and development of contingency plans to proactively address potential risks, delays, or shifts in market conditions, ensuring the team is prepared to adapt and respond effectively.
  • Identify the optimal momentum to launch. Creating ambitious and realistic timelines and overseeing the entire launch process.
  • Ensure achievement of business objectives, evaluating the business case/profitability throughout the launch. Preparing a recommendation for decision making if there are signs that the objectives may not be met, including coordinating a no launch decision when necessary.
  • Ensure that launch status and launch-related information are up to date in internal systems. Maintaining active oversight of all launch-related information, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Act as the primary communicator of the launch view, proactively addressing and resolving critical issues.
  • Prepare and present proposals for launch-related business decisions to senior management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of launch progress and escalating issues as per internal guidance and requests.

Requirements

  • 10 + years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in the Generics sector and with at least 8 years in launch management or project management.
  • Good understanding of European regulatory processes and solid experience in collaborating with finished-product suppliers (manufacturing partners).
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams across diverse cultural and organizational contexts.
  • Ability to understand the big picture and long-term while balancing with details and short-term priorities.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, challenge, and align stakeholders toward shared goals.
  • Excellent networking and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, simultaneous launch cases/projects with efficiency and strategic oversight.
  • A proactive mindset, a strong sense of ownership, and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt.
  • The capability to thrive in complex, cross-functional, and international environments, navigating ambiguity with confidence and clarity.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to foster a constructive, solution-oriented team environment.
