About the role
- Design and develop user interfaces from concept to deployment
- Translate business and user requirements into intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing UI components
- Collaborate with designers to refine look and feel and with engineers to ensure seamless integration with backend services
- Develop reusable UI components and maintain a consistent design system
- Conduct user interface testing and incorporate feedback to improve usability and accessibility
- Advocate for design best practices and contribute to UI/UX standards across the platform
- Work closely with product managers to align designs with business goals and user needs
- Continuously evaluate emerging UI/UX trends and technologies to keep interfaces modern and effective
Requirements
- 1–4 years of professional experience in UI/UX development or a related role
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks
- Experience with Svelte
- Proficient in Figma; able to create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes
- Experience building responsive, accessible, and performant web applications
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, with a passion for clean, maintainable code and polished design
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced scale-up environment and embracing change and ambiguity
