About the role
- Oversee global network operations
- Manage relationships with MSP, vendors and suppliers
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders
- Present technical information in a clear and concise manner to senior management and other stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network monitoring tools
- Proficiency in network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
- Experience with network security best practices and technologies, including VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network access control
- Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with deploying, configuring, and testing network equipment
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Ansible, Python)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in network operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing global network operations
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable
- ITIL certification is a plus
