About the role

  • Design and implement pricing models for Optibus’ SaaS solutions considering customer needs, market trends, and business goals
  • Ensure deals meet revenue recognition and compliance standards in collaboration with sales and finance
  • Partner with sales to structure deals, support complex contract negotiations, and optimize profitability
  • Develop customer-centric pricing frameworks considering operational and financial challenges of public transport agencies
  • Monitor pricing impact on revenue, customer acquisition, and retention; refine strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with product, finance, marketing, and customer-facing teams to align pricing with product features and campaigns
  • Provide insights and reporting to leadership on pricing strategy outcomes, forecasts, and growth opportunities
  • Report into the Global VP of Revenue Operations and work closely with sales, finance, and customer-facing teams
  • Work hybrid from London Wall office (three days a week in-office)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience in pricing strategy, SaaS or enterprise software pricing, and revenue management
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and compliance frameworks
  • Expertise in data analytics and tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience working with public transportation agencies or deep understanding of transit operations (desirable)
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Strategic thinker with data-driven approach, strong financial acumen, attention to detail
  • Effective communicator, proactive and results-oriented, ability to balance competing priorities
