💰 $60,000 - $65,000 per year

About the role

  • You'll be responsible for smashing targets, and building relationships in the industry.
  • Work with the entire Growth team to set priorities and strategic direction for new business.
  • Actively prospect and engage new brands using a variety of channels including (but not limited to) cold calling; email; LinkedIn; networking events.
  • Conduct discovery Calls/demos with all outbound and inbound leads.
  • Be a champion for our users and advocate for them, partnering with Marketing and Product teams to continuously improve the product.
  • Collect and record feedback throughout the sales process, suggesting changes where you identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors.
  • Attend industry events to network, build contacts, and represent Opply in the best light.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years experience in high outbound Sales in a Business Development role
  • B2B sales experience targeting SMB customers
  • Early stage startup experience
  • Have consistently exceeded sales targets, and motivated by the close
  • Experience or interest in the food/consumer goods industry with brands and suppliers preferred
