About the role
- Own and deliver comprehensive analyses and strategic projects, encompassing market and industry analysis, competitive assessments, business case development, scenario planning, and pricing analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
- Prospect, evaluate, and negotiate deals to facilitate new partners who align with company goals and growth objectives. Evaluate partner proposals, assess business impact and ROI, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Prospect, cultivate, and manage relationships with key external partners, collaborating on the identification and execution of new opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across OpenTable, including Sales, Product, Marketing, Design, Legal, and Analytics, to ensure seamless execution of initiatives and partnerships.
- Build and maintain forecasting models to project various business scenarios. Define, track, and report on key performance metrics, both internally for OpenTable and externally with partners, to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
- Perform rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate opportunities, support strategic decisions, and effectively influence partners.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or higher
- 6+ years of professional experience
- Demonstrated experience in strategy consulting, corporate development, strategic partnerships, business development, or a similar role
- Proven track record of successfully collaborating across teams to develop and launch partnerships that drive growth, enhance brand exposure, and deliver valuable benefits to users
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in forecasting, financial modeling, pricing analysis, market sizing, industry analysis, and competitive analysis
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and develop actionable recommendations and implementation plans
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and effectively manage ambiguity
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to achieving goals
- Experience in the consumer technology sector is a plus.
