About the role
- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic ISV and technology partnerships, with accountability for partnership health, adoption, and business impact.
- Define partnership strategy and priorities, including joint plans, goals, and an execution roadmap across key partner segments.
- Establish and run a durable operating model, including governance, stakeholder alignment, escalation paths, and execution cadence.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to shape and deliver integrations that meet enterprise requirements for reliability, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with Security, Legal, and Privacy teams to ensure appropriate trust, compliance, and commercial frameworks for joint work.
- Build and drive joint GTM plans with Field and Marketing teams, including enablement, solution positioning, and coordinated execution.
- Track performance against clear metrics, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement across partnerships and programs.
- Represent OpenAI with senior partner executives, driving alignment, resolving issues, and expanding partnership scope over time.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading strategic technology partnerships, alliances, or platform ecosystem programs in enterprise software or cloud.
- A track record building and scaling partnerships from early-stage strategy through execution, integrations, and GTM.
- Strong technical and product fluency, with the ability to partner effectively with solutions engineering and security teams (without needing to be the hands-on implementer).
- Experience navigating enterprise requirements related to security, privacy, governance, and compliance in partner-led initiatives.
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership and the ability to drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales/GTM, Legal, and partner organizations.
- Strong executive presence, negotiation capability, and comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
- Clear, concise communication skills with experience producing decision-ready memos, plans, and executive updates.
