About the role
- Assist in implementing and servicing human resources management programs in areas aforementioned in the summary.
- Support client expectation by effectively communicating project status and issues; resolving concerns; analyzing time and cost issues; preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends.
- Assist in the process of timely and accurate payroll processing in compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
- Support all new hires and terminations to properly hire with background references and terminate with proper documentation.
- Support the department in maintaining accurate HR administration system data for proper reporting, tracking, and documentation.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, human resources, organizational development or related field or HR SPHR/PHR certifications and/or equivalent experience.
- Ability to retain a good knowledge of tasks performed in the HR functions.
- Ability to analyze and organize financial information and perform complex financial calculations.
- Basic understanding of HR regulations, labor laws, and proper documentation.
- Present a professional image and demeanor in dealing with clients, interdepartmental and external representatives.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
- Accurate typing/keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and e-mail.
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or client complaints.
- Ability to demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior.
- Possess a work ethic that includes neatness, punctuality, and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to remain flexible in order to adapt to changes in the work environment.
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time management, problem prevention, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail.
- Fluent bilingual in Korean and English required.
