About the role
- Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on the New York market (primarily NYC).
- Build relationships across multiple levels within healthcare organizations, including:
- o Business Office Managers (BOMs)
- o Billing teams
- o Mid-level management
- o Administrators
- o CFOs
- o Ownership groups
- The sales process will typically begin with mid-level management and BOM-level stakeholders, expanding upward to executive decision-makers as needed.
- Utilize a comprehensive existing lead list to initiate outreach and develop opportunities.
- Proactively generate new leads through networking, in-person visits, referrals, and industry presence.
- Maintain consistent field activity; for the right candidate, strong market visibility is expected to organically generate additional opportunities.
- Track activity, manage pipeline, and report on sales progress.
- Primary focus is New York State, specifically NYC.
- Occasional outreach may include surrounding counties where facilities submit cases to NYC.
- No regular out-of-state travel required at this time.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of the New York healthcare market.
- Proven B2B sales experience within healthcare technology or healthcare services.
- Experience selling into:
- o Home care agencies
- o Hospitals
- o Nursing homes
- o Skilled nursing facilities
- Demonstrated ability to sell to both operational stakeholders and executive-level decision-makers.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a field-based role.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
