About the role
- Drive the compliant planning, direction, and oversight of key Foot & Ankle activities and strategic priorities
- Ensure that all financial targets are achieved and that the business is operating in a manner that will maximize growth within a specific territory
- Assess market trends, data and business opportunities within the assigned area within the US
- Utilize data, insights, and relationships to develop a strategy and action plan and partner with Regional Manager(s), Sales Consultants, and Distributors to execute this plan
- In partnership with Regional Managers, provide clear direction, strategy, and leadership to Sales Consultants and Distributors
- Lead, develop, and implement Sales Education programs for the portfolio
- Maintain a strong internal network allowing collaboration with peers across all projects and initiatives
- Identify and engage with Key Opinion Leaders
- Partner with sales team to support existing users and convert competitive users
- Act as a clinical liaison between the surgeons and other DePuy Synthes departments
- Collaborate with Marketing and R&D on various initiatives
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required (BA/BS)
- A Masters degree (MA/MS/MBA) is highly preferred
- A valid Driver’s License in one of the fifty (50) United States is required
- 5+ years of Foot & Ankle and/or orthopedic experience is required
- 5+ years of sales experience is preferred
- Previous managerial or leadership experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to identify market intelligence and have a strategic mindset strongly preferred
- Strong entrepreneurial skills and a natural ability to spot opportunities for revenue generation are required
- Ability to work autonomously is required
- Candidates must be located within 90 minutes of an airport within the assigned geography with 50-75% travel required within the US
