About the role
- Execute packaging design projects across foundational and evolutionary tiers from concept adaptation to production release
- Ensure brand consistency and design excellence across a variety of SKUs, formats, and packaging types
- Provide peer-level design feedback to support team quality and workflow
- Apply creative judgment while maintaining brand integrity during system rollouts across product portfolios
- Collaborate with senior design leadership during reviews and check-ins on strategic design work
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Regulatory, and Production to deliver high-quality, print-ready artwork
- Support a collaborative, flexible, and solution-oriented team environment
- Escalate questions or deviations from brand guidelines when needed
- Provide peer review support to help maintain high-quality deliverables across the team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
- 5–7 years of professional design experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods (CPG), food, or beverage industries
- Strong knowledge of packaging design principles and production processes
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
- Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Box
- Ability to interpret and execute within established brand systems with precision and consistency
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating across multiple teams
- Proactive and self-motivated with a high level of attention to detail
- Must be available to work on a W2 basis (NO C2C, NO 1099)
- Located in or near Hunt Valley, MD (hybrid requirement)
