About the role

  • Lead and manage principals’ business within designated customer accounts to increase sales and market share
  • Deliver volume and sales fundamentals including merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving
  • Develop and execute comprehensive Customer Business Plans aligned with principal priorities
  • Engage with key decision-makers to present and sell business plans, programs, and growth strategies
  • Maximize revenue through brokerage, commissions, bonuses, and contests while managing expenditures
  • Ensure superior in-store execution by collaborating with customer operations and retail teams
  • Oversee trade marketing funds, coordinate direct shipments, and leverage data insights to support sales initiatives
  • Operate within established budgets and maintain cost-effective operations
  • Maintain proactive cross-functional communication with principals and internal teams
  • Partner with Retail Sales Managers on product launches, promotions, and contests
  • Apply market and customer insights to engage marketing, technology, and administrative resources
  • Provide timely updates on sales priorities and contribute to team knowledge sharing
  • Use internal systems and tools to support business planning and communication
  • Support continuous improvement and complete special projects as assigned
  • Reside in and travel locally within the Seattle market as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 6 months in retail (CPG industry), marketing, space management, or resets
  • Experience in sales administration or finance is a plus
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) and web-based applications
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Visual acuity and color perception
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 20 lbs.; ability to push/pull materials
  • Active listening and verbal communication
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed
