About the role

  • Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and security settings to support evolving business processes and uphold platform configuration standards.
  • Design, build, and maintain Salesforce Flows (record-triggered, screen, subflows, and scheduled) to automate and streamline workflows, establishing reusable, scalable automation patterns.
  • Evaluate business and functional requirements and determine the appropriate automation approach in partnership with analysts and developers.
  • Partner closely with developers on solutions that combine declarative configuration and programmatic components, providing guidance on Salesforce best practices and configuration impacts.
  • Support sprint-based delivery, including build, test, deployment, and post-release validation activities.
  • Perform data loads, data updates, and ongoing data quality maintenance to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Serve as a primary escalation point to troubleshoot and resolve complex Salesforce issues and user requests, coordinating with analysts and developers as needed.
  • Define and maintain documentation, standards, and continuous improvement practices for the Salesforce platform and related processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Salesforce Administrator or similar role, including work in complex or highly customized Salesforce environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Advanced, hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining Salesforce Flows, including record-triggered, screen, scheduled flows, and subflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate tradeoffs between declarative and programmatic approaches and act as a technical decision-maker for Salesforce configuration and automation.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Salesforce data model, security model, and automation tools, with the ability to design scalable patterns and select appropriate tools for a given use case.
  • Demonstrated experience operating in a cross-functional, delivery-oriented environment (for example, Agile or sprint-based), partnering with business, product, and technical teams.
  • Proven ability to translate business and functional requirements into effective, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce solutions aligned with platform best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (required); Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (highly preferred).
