About the role

  • Aid in the direct sales of the company’s capital equipment, disposable product line, and service offerings
  • Call on and respond to existing and prospective customers to determine customers' needs and challenges
  • Provide solutions to resolve customers' issues while enhancing long-term relationships
  • Develop new accounts and grow existing accounts within the established geographic territory
  • Exceed assigned sales targets, respond to requests for information and data from sales management, marketing, and corporate administration
  • Understand all corporate policies and guidelines
  • Maintain a complete prospect, competitor, and customer database CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
  • Establish and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, hospital management, and other areas of surgical services
  • Utilize sales presentation skills to sell company products via consultative selling to customers
  • Provide post-sales and support service to customers, including installation assistance, training, troubleshooting, and in-service on the use and operation of equipment
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products and meet with key customers

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of prior sales or marketing experience is required
  • Proven track record of success
  • Must possess basic computer skills (MS Office)
  • Must have Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to travel within the territory daily
  • Occasional need and ability to travel outside the territory within the region
  • Overnight stays will be necessary
  • Must adhere to all customer and vendor credentialing requirements when visiting medical facilities
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent sales/business experience (preferred)
  • Prior sales or marketing experience with medical devices or within a hospital medical environment is highly preferred
