About the role
- Architect and lead the company's supply base strategy across critical nuclear hardware and production systems
- Develop a deep understanding of sourced Bill of Materials (BOM) at the component level
- Build a proactive sourcing organization that anticipates risk, enables scale, and maximizes outcomes
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply base strategies
- Ensure critical components have defined sourcing strategies
- Identify single-source risks and supply bottlenecks
- Establish supplier segmentation and profiling frameworks
- Own and manage the Approved Supplier List (ASL)
- Ensure sourcing strategies align with nuclear regulatory requirements
- Maintain knowledge of nuclear ASME Pressure Vessel Code requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, or category management within a hardware-focused industry
- Direct experience supporting nuclear hardware, nuclear energy systems, or suppliers operating under nuclear regulatory and quality frameworks
- Demonstrated experience building or restructuring supply base strategies at a systems or program level
- Strong understanding of cost drivers, supplier risk management, and capacity planning
- Experience leading complex commercial negotiations and long-term supplier agreements
- Ability to operate cross-functionally and influence engineering and finance stakeholders
- U.S. citizenship required
