About the role
- Manage daily financial operations.
- Manage the firm’s accounts receivable, including invoicing, collection efforts, and dispute resolution.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure timely payment.
- Monitor and analyze outstanding invoices and generate reports on collection activities.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding the status of collections and any potential issues.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Ensure ethical and legal compliance.
- Analyze financial data.
- Assist with audits.
- Maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage budgets.
- Conduct variance analysis.
- Process payroll.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure financial efficiency and transparency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial/accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Fluency in English (both written and speaking).
- Further knowledge on any additional language, double-entry bookkeeping and payroll is desirable.
