About the role

  • Communicate with Spanish-speaking clients to gather facts, documents, updates, and ongoing case information
  • Draft legal documents, declarations, letters, notices, and case summaries for attorney review
  • Assist with pre-litigation and litigation tasks including evidence collection, medical records requests, demand package preparation, and court-related filings
  • Support mandamus litigation by organizing case timelines, drafting supporting statements, and coordinating with clients regarding delays in asylum or family-based applications
  • Assist with workers’ compensation matters, including forms, medical treatment follow-up, and benefits tracking
  • Coordinate with co-counsel and out-of-state attorneys for personal injury matters
  • Maintain accurate case notes, deadlines, and documentation within firm systems
  • Provide regular case updates to the team leader and attorneys
  • Ensure a smooth and supportive client experience throughout the entire case lifecycle

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in this field
  • Prior experience as a Litigation, Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, or Immigration Paralegal preferred
  • Strong legal research skills and the ability to efficiently find, analyze, and interpret relevant information
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases at once
  • Comfortable working U.S. business hours or overlapping with U.S. Pacific Time
  • Strong client-facing skills, empathy, and patience
