About the role
- Lead consultative and technical aspects of the sales process, including client-facing demonstrations and integration conversations
- Lead effective product and technical demonstrations that uncover needs and align value to client objectives
- Collaborate with account executives and internal teams to act as a trusted advisor and progress the sales cycle
- Investigate and assemble information to solve prospect challenges and update knowledge documentation
- Tailor product configurations and demo environments for client requirements and product releases
- Facilitate hands-on evaluations of software and create/update supporting materials (videos, written content, quantified impacts)
- Assist in development of RFP responses and sales documentation
- Collect client interaction insights to inform product development and identify opportunities
- Continuously learn product, competitors, and industry trends
- Coordinate with account executive and professional services for seamless implementation kickoffs
Requirements
- 3-5+ years experience as a pre-sales engineer, solution consultant, or client-facing service role in a B2B SaaS enterprise environment
- Experience leading client-facing presentations and pre-sales technical evaluations
- Expertise in data mapping, API functionality, and cloud-based integrations
- Demonstrated track record of creating service and value-based solutions beyond product feature-function
- Ability to synthesize and analyze data and provide insights to internal partners
- Understanding of SaaS sales methodologies; value selling preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinking, independence, autonomy, and sound judgment
- Strong desire to work in a rapidly expanding SaaS organization
- Experience with facilities, human resources, or reporting software is a plus
- 4-year university degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel as needed
