About the role
- Serve as primary technical resource on qualified sales opportunities, partnering with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand prospect technical requirements, workflows and integration needs
- Design, configure, and deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to prospect use cases
- Develop and execute proof of concepts (POCs) that validate technical fit and business value
- Lead technical aspects of RFP/RFI responses, including solution design and technical writing
- Serve as technical SME on sales calls, addressing objections and building consensus among technical buyers
- Partner with Product team to communicate customer requirements and influence product roadmap
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions using available tools
- Design workflows that demonstrate platform capabilities
- Partner with technical writer to document technical solutions for internal and customer-facing use
- Maintain technical asset library (demo scripts, POC templates, Solutions Documentation)
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge (software, cloud, networking, or industry-specific platforms)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business benefits
- Customer-focused mindset and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with CRM tools, demo environments, or solution design tools
