Principal Product Manager, Consumer

Controller

• Lead, mentor, and manage our accounting team to ensure the sustained success of OfferUp's financial operations.
• Provide leadership for the accounting team by executing the accounting strategy and driving tactical improvements
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls that scale with the business and support audit readiness.
• Oversee tax planning (federal, state & local, R&D credit, etc.) and compliance with support from external resources
• Ownership of all accounting processes including payroll, revenue recognition, accounts payable, accounts receivable, stock-based compensation, etc.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of company financial systems and records, while identifying opportunities to improve data quality and streamline manual processes
• Own Treasury functions including management of banking relationships, fees, and ongoing banking strategies
• Drive standard cadence of Investor Relations deliverables
• Manage and oversee the annual audit
• Serve as the Company’s primary authority on technical accounting matters and ensure GAAP compliance for all routine and non-routine transactions
• Refine financial statements and footnotes and develop related disclosures

Corporate Controller

• Design and build agentic AI systems and RAG pipelines for production features across the marketplace
• Integrate LLMs into product experiences across search, categorization, communication, and trust & safety
• Partner with Data Scientists and Engineers to turn research into shipped products
• Deliver the next generation of Search, Personalization, and Trust & Safety features powered by reliable, production-quality AI systems
• Directly contribute to key business KPIs (conversion, retention, fraud reduction) by turning data science insights into shipped capabilities
• Production RAG pipelines for intelligent discovery; agentic workflows for marketplace automation; tooling and infrastructure for rapid, safe LLM deployment
