About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Brainstorm and develop ideas for the organic social calendar alongside our social team.
- Identify trends, formats, creators, and conversations OfferUp can authentically participate in.
- Support short-form video concepts for TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and beyond — capturing or appearing in content depending on your comfort and fit.
- Run lightweight man-on-the-street interviews on campus or in local communities.
- Help with briefs, shot lists, content organization, and basic production coordination.
- Monitor what's resonating, and get exposure to paid creative testing, campaign operations, and performance analysis.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A student or recent grad interested in marketing, social, brand, creative strategy, or consumer tech.
- Deep familiarity with how people actually consume and share content today across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Strong creative instincts and the ability to explain why an idea will or won't land.
- Good judgment, clockwork reliability, and a proactive, low-ego, high-energy approach.
