Security Engineer

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to proactively identify, assess, and remediate security risks across Odyssey's products and infrastructure, proposing enhanced controls and process improvements where needed
• Perform static and dynamic vulnerability assessments and drive remediation efforts through to resolution
• Evaluate security risks in AI systems and data pipelines, and leverage AI-assisted tooling to enhance threat detection, vulnerability analysis, and security operations
• Maintain and mature Odyssey's SOC 2 Type II program, ensuring a secure environment for vendors, customers, end-users, and employees
• Design and implement security controls across Odyssey's full technology stack — from application layer to cloud infrastructure
• Translate complex security findings into clear, actionable remediation steps for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Senior Security Engineer

Implementation Specialist

• Fully understand all of the elements important to the customer that may impact deployment and communicate this effectively with internal teams.
• Deploy Odyssey to our customers; ensuring successful completion of contractual requirements and go-live milestones.
• Build strong partnerships and lines of communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop deployment plans and lead these plans with State stakeholders and internal Odyssey teams, including Engineering, Product, and Support.
• Provide technical knowledge and understanding of Odyssey’s platform to various technical and non-technical stakeholders; driving deployment of technical solutions and configurations.
• Drive all customer growth and adoption, leading to successful renewal.
• Ensure we’re deploying customers in a scalable and effective way.

Implementation Manager

Analyst

• Ensure every payment flow balances and clears successfully — across state disbursements, family wallets, and vendor payouts
• Investigate and resolve payment exceptions — returned ACH, misdirected payments, failed disbursements
• Build and continuously improve the financial and operational records and systems that keep programs running
• Analyze payment and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and issues
• Monitor KPIs and surface issues before they escalate
• Support ad hoc analysis requests from leadership
• Hunt for inefficiencies, eliminate unnecessary manual work, and build processes that scale
• Build the playbooks that make Odyssey's payment operations more scalable and resilient

Payments Analyst

Controller

• Own the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close process — driving accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement
• Build reporting infrastructure that provides leadership with clear and timely visibility into the business
• Lead the company through audits — managing the relationship with external auditors and ensuring the organization is consistently audit-ready
• Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures that are well-documented and scalable
• Design and implement internal controls that strengthen financial integrity as the business grows
• Own accounting for how funds move through the platform, including reconciliation across payment systems and internal records
• Partner with payments operations to help build scalable processes around high-volume transactions and multi-state program activity
• Design and improve the accounting systems and data infrastructure that support the business
• Reduce manual processes and improve the reliability and speed of financial reporting
• Lead ERP evaluation and implementation as the company scales
• Ensure GAAP compliance across relevant standards — including ASC 606 (revenue recognition) and ASC 718 (equity compensation)
• Manage equity compensation accounting and cap table-to-ledger reconciliations in coordination with legal and HR
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and reconciliations
• Oversee 1099 reporting and other compliance filings in coordination with external advisors
• Manage relationships with external accounting partners
• Partner with the CFO on board reporting, investor materials, and fundraising readiness
• Work closely with FP&A to ensure alignment between actuals and forecast
