• Responsible for Octane’s CDIA/Metro 2 reporting process including file creation, data quality, issue resolution, data source systems and troubleshooting data/file requirements
• Considered a Subject Matter Expert in CDIA, Metro2, Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)/Reg V, and other comparable laws and regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for Credit Bureau Disputes Management as well as alignment to the Octane Complaints program ensuring a full lifecycle of data issue and credit bureau reporting are properly maintained
• Own the policies, procedures, process flow, and all other elements that comprise Octane’s Metro 2 CDIA compliant credit reporting program
• Lead and improve Octane’s credit reporting standards and practices, based on dispute trends, regulatory and CDIA update guidance, and regular process testing,
• Own the creation, submission, and audit of Octane’s Metro2 Data Files to all four major CRAs, including data review and filtering/scrubbing of unneeded data before submission.
• Lead root cause analysis to identify and correct errors in data furnishing processes prior to reporting including data integrity checks, error resolutions, and dispute management.
• Continuously improve the Dispute process through testing, automation, efficiency gains, and training.
• Coordinate with technical teams to manage system and process enhancements to ensure continued compliance with credit reporting requirements
• Act as a resident expert in FCRA compliance and the various rules and requirements related to credit reporting and disputes.
• Oversee key monthly BK Watch, and Deceased Scan, Repo and Debt Sale process outputs from the Collections and Asset Recovery teams as they become inputs to FCRA exception reporting.

Senior Operations Manager – Credit Bureau Reporting

Collections

• Maintain delinquency and mitigate losses by conducting outbound and Inbound collection and customer service calls.
• Comply with all federal and state specific laws that regulate collections and servicing activities.
• Provide consistent and productive follow up on delinquent accounts ranging from 5-90 + days delinquent.
• Investigate and resolve complex problems and issues generally associated with loan servicing, i.e. potential loss situations such as insurance claims, confiscations, impounds, bankruptcy sequestrations and repossessions.
• Advance win-win solutions to assist customers with payment extensions and refinance options.

Collections Portfolio Specialist – Collector

Manager

• Apply analytical rigor and discipline to the process of measuring and evaluating the pricing and credit risk modeling within the auto lending business vertical.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with cross functional teams.
• Communicate project status and develop a detailed understanding of business requirements across both business areas and project initiatives.
• Analyze and forecast historical origination pools for pricing and profitability insights.
• Review current business practices and make recommendations on changes based on cost/profitability.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury and the Risk team in developing highly accurate and creative pricing and loan structuring models.

• Analyze and present data for key People initiatives, including Compensation, Benefits, HR Metrics.
• Design and maintain HR dashboards and reports aligned to business needs, ensuring data accuracy and clarity.

HRIS Analyst

Security Engineer

• Define and drive the product strategy for the controls that protect our most sensitive data (PII, financial, company confidential) across Octane’s platform, partners, and data systems.
• Partner closely with Security, Engineering, Platform/Infra, Data Platform, Legal, Risk, Capital Markets, and Sales to deliver secure‑by‑default, enterprise‑grade features and policies that keep our data secure.
• Set the vision & roadmap for Octane’s data security, data governance platforms spanning the full data lifecycle: classification, collection, storage, processing, access, sharing, and deletion/retention.
• Measure & improve with clear KPIs/SLOs (e.g., PII obfuscation, encryption coverage, key rotation compliance, audit log completeness, time‑to‑remediate).
• Embed security in the SDLC: threat modeling (like STRIDE, MITRE), design reviews, paved‑road patterns, secure defaults, and friction‑free guardrails in CI/CD.
• Collaborate across data: work with the Data Platform on data masking/synthetic data for dev/test, lineage, governance, data residency, and safe analytics. Aware of privacy implications in financial servicing and protecting our customers.
• Own outcomes: author crisp PRDs, ruthlessly prioritize, run high‑signal experiments, align stakeholders, and ship iteratively.
• Set a security-first mindset: help further engineering and stakeholder best practices by ensuring the data security is top-of-mind.

Senior Technical Product Manager, Data/Product Security

• Act as key project manager for the Collections and/or Servicing areas on specifically assigned compliance related projects managing cross functional teams from kick off to submission for Closure to Risk Governance.
• Communicate with business stakeholders and Risk Governance to ensure alignment with each project.
• Coordinate and facilitate effective meetings and include the appropriate cross-functional stakeholders.
• Provide support, direction and follow-up on deliverables through consistent communication.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to include: weekly updates deliverables, meeting minutes, supporting documents and required milestone due dates.

Manager, Internal Controls – Remediation

Account Manager

• Manage and optimize origination underwriting to ensure the portfolio performance is within risk appetite framework.
• Adherence to the Risk policy, standards and frameworks, and maintaining a robust control environment.
• Ability to perform advanced data analytics and advise the underwriting strategies for loan origination, loan amount assignment, and loan pricings that optimize profitability from end to end.
• Collaborate with the portfolio risk team to track credit performance and take action to manage the portfolio within the organization’s risk management appetite.
• Take ownership of credit policy documentation and enhance policies and processes to mitigate credit risk exposure.
• Improve sophistication and technical implementation of current approaches.

Senior Manager, Credit Strategy – Partnerships

Analyst

• Support the development of the 1st Line of Defense (LoD) Controls Testing in accordance with the Risk & Control Matrix (RCM) program to properly test business process and procedural controls across the organization.
• Ensure proper identification of Risks, Controls, Control gaps, Control Design and Control testing is built and implemented across the organization at the 1st LoD.
• Ensure the Control Testing program properly evaluates the firm's compliance with approved procedures and to help ensure that control gaps are adequately escalated and mitigated through remedial actions.
• Support the Octane 1st LoD testing program including testing modules, test scripts, sample methodologies, reporting results and action plans.
• Assist in development of proper monitoring programs to ensure controls and processes are working as intended
• Partner closely with peers to understand the process risks and develop process control reporting requirements.
• Must be capable of determining the root cause of issues and develop effective remediation plans to mitigate the risks.
• Must be capable to perform manual control testing to ensure that procedures are being followed as written and approved with no control gaps.
• May act as a Project Manager for 1st LoD Business Controls & Remediation related initiatives tracking business decisions and ensuring outcomes to meet policy and procedure standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and Legal to design, implement, and support a procedurally compliant program.
• Work closely with the Servicing, Collections and Credit Ops and Risk teams to support Octane business processes, decisioning models and credit policies while ensuring compliance is properly embedded and monitored for completeness and accuracy.

• The Credit Reporting Operations Manager oversees Octane’s CDIA-compliant Metro2 reporting program and dispute management.
• Own policies, procedures, process flow charts, and documentation comprising the Metro2 reporting program.
• Maintain and improve credit reporting standards based on dispute trends, regulatory and CDIA guidance.
• Create, submit, and audit Metro2 Data Files to all four major CRAs including data review and scrubbing.
