Manager

• Leads strategic program efforts using project management, quality improvement, design/systems thinking, operational excellence, business process reengineering, change management, and process improvement

Manager – Organizational Change

Auditor

• Performs proactive/prospective audits, retrospective/defense audits, and both targeted and ad hoc charge capture audits.
• Works with clinical personnel during audits, schedules, prepares action plans, and reports to the Chart Audit Committee.
• Advises clinical departments to ensure charges and medical documentation are appropriate for health information management (HIM) and billing.
• Assists in special projects and conducts internal training to ensure competency and compliance in all aspects of the revenue cycle.
• Ensures compliance with Compliance & Privacy Program and Standards of Conduct; supports patient/privacy and safety.

RN Nurse Auditor

• Performs Pre-Admission, Admission and Continued Stay activities
• Maintains open communication with all appropriate parties
• Manages aspects of the planning process in anticipation of the patient’s movement through the healthcare system
• Proactively interacts with managed care/ third party payers to obtain financial certification, to appropriate reimbursement and minimize reimbursement denials
• Manages the care of assigned patients through the healthcare system based on the patient’s individual needs
• Additional duties as assigned

Registered Nurse (RN) - Utilization Manager

Customer Support

• Handles patient billing inquiries for the Health System; works directly with patients to provide customer service and collect past due balances.
• Ensures patients receive the best service through timely and accurate responses.
• Liaises between patient, providers, external departments or other responsible person(s) to ensure that charts are applied appropriately.
• Records and maintains transactions ensuring account balances and discrepancies are resolved within the prescribed period.
• Plans, organizes, and prioritizes work and convinces debtors on the necessity of assuming financial responsibility.
• Educates the debtor on payment options and explains the financial impact of various alternatives.
• Provides top quality customer service experience on every patient inquiry received to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.
• Represents the company with professionalism to ensure all patients issues are resolved timely, accurately and efficiently.
• Ensures each call is handled appropriately and effectively to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction.
• Other duties as required.
• Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
