Product Manager

• Partner with leadership to define and execute the roadmap for the Nylas Connectivity Suite (Email, Calendar, Contacts), with a specific focus on unlocking AI utility that provide immediate value to our customers.
• Translate complex technical infrastructure into clear business value. You’ll be just as comfortable debating API architecture with engineers as you are discussing GTM strategy with Marketing.
• Gather deep insights from our developer community and enterprise partners. You’ll lead closed betas and feedback loops to ensure we’re building what the market needs before they even know they need it.
• Own the documentation and launch lifecycle. You’ll ensure that every release is high-quality, well-communicated, and sets a new standard for developer experience.
• Conduct research and validate assumptions to make high-velocity decisions—even when the data is messy or incomplete.

• Establish and grow Nylas’ Professional Services function, in direct alignment with company goals and vision.
• Build the operational foundation for a scalable, revenue-generating professional services team — including the design of optimal service offerings, utilization frameworks, delivery processes, and cross-functional alignment.
• Lead, coach, and scale the team, establish clear success metrics across the team, balancing customer value delivery with commercial accountability.
• Model a culture of accountability, transparency, and customer obsession, where the team feels both empowered and expected to deliver impact.
• Be accountable for the financial P&L for this function, such as revenue target and gross margin.
• Partner with Marketing to highlight the impact of professional services to our customers, such as co-developing press releases, case studies and generating customer testimonials.
• Partner with Sales on Enterprise deals to increase win-rates and optimize deal size by providing confidence in our domain expertise, professionalism and service, and complete POCs if required.
• Partner with Customer Success and Technical Support to continually discover and deliver on improved customer business outcomes through Professional Services.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to continually provide feedback on real-world customer pain points to improve our product offering.
• Partner with customers to highlight success stories to the industry by participating in key industry events and with strategic partners, positioning the company as a leader in customer business outcomes and technology innovation.

• Own and manage the full enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to identify “land” opportunities and drive expansion across large organizations.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business priorities and align Nylas’s value to strategic outcomes.
• Lead discovery and solution-selling conversations that uncover customer pain points, technical requirements, and desired business results.

• Execute high-volume outbound prospecting to generate qualified opportunities for the sales team, leveraging phone, email, LinkedIn, and social outreach to engage decision-makers and influencers.
• Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly quota targets for meetings booked and opportunities created.
• Research target accounts to identify potential needs, align outreach to business priorities, and tailor messaging to resonate with ideal customer profiles (ICPs).
• Qualify prospects through thoughtful discovery, assessing fit, urgency, and readiness, and seamlessly hand off qualified opportunities to Account Executives.
• Partner closely with Account Executives to develop account penetration strategies, ensuring smooth transitions and setting up high-quality sales conversations.
• Use sales enablement tools such as Salesforce, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Gong to manage outreach, track activity, and maintain accurate pipeline records.
• Apply a multi-touch, multi-channel approach to create consistent engagement and build relationships with prospects over time.
• Provide feedback from prospect interactions to Marketing and Sales leadership to refine messaging, targeting, and campaign effectiveness.
