About the role

  • Define System Level Power Architecture for complex SoCs and platforms.
  • Understand workloads, establish Power budgets and drive optimization roadmap through arch, HW, SW across battery powered and always-on systems.
  • Working with teams throughout the company (RTL, PD, Circuit, SI, Thermal, SW, Platform, Operations, Marketing, etc...) to deliver outstanding power solutions.
  • Lead multi-org initiatives to close power targets, guide design teams on low power techniques and trade offs and drive silicon debug, tuning and incorporating findings to future product generations.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 12+ years of additional relevant work experience focused on computer architecture and power optimization through HW/SW.
  • Understanding of the many factors influencing power efficiency at chip, system, and product levels.
  • Experience with modeling and optimization of power and/or performance, as well as with power architecture and design
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • A drive to continuously learn and expand architectural breadth and depth.
