About the role
- Develop plans for achieving goals and growth objectives
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitor products
- Develop rapport and establish strategic relationships with customers
- Deliver presentations to communicate the company’s value proposition
- Build and advocate deal strategies with clients
- Plan and implement a weekly travel schedule for customer meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Communications, Engineering, or applicable outside sales experience
- Ideally, 5+ years of experience in outside sales and account management
- Technical sales experience in the utility space selling electrical products
- Experience leading a team of sales professionals preferred
- Experience leading manufacturing rep agencies preferred
- Consultative and strategic sales experience selling into the refining, power, and heavy industrial industries
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- A valid driver's license is required.
