About the role
- Develop strategic plans and convert them into annual growth plans with supporting functional objectives
- Manage product portfolios and new product roadmaps
- Develop and deploy annual capital expenditure plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of product line initiatives
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats
- Analyze product performance and customer feedback to find opportunities for improvement and optimization
- Serve as a subject matter expert on our products and provide ongoing sales support
- Develop and deliver sales training materials and tools to equip the sales team with knowledge and resources
- Establish objectives and key results to measure the effectiveness of product management and new product development initiatives
- Track and analyze product line performance data and present insights to executive leadership
- Manage and mentor Product Management team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 15+ years of experience in Product Management or Engineering Management, preferably in the electrical industry
- Proven track record of developing and delivering successful go-to-market strategies
- Solid understanding of product positioning, messaging, and branding
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong presentation abilities
- Product development and commercialization experience
- 10+ years of experience leading and mentoring teams
