About the role
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with HR representatives, leaders, and employees across the organization
- Process high volumes of HR data transactions with precision and efficiency
- Enter and maintain information from multiple sources (paper, spreadsheets, digital forms) into HR systems
- Perform job-event HR transactions and validate data accuracy by cross-checking against resource documents
- Organize and categorize data for easy retrieval and analysis; maintain files and records
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and reliability over time
- Collaborate with internal SMEs and other departments to resolve data-related questions and issues
- Utilize the case management system (ServiceNow) to maintain high case quality, accurate metrics, and customer satisfaction
- Investigate and resolve data issues impacting replication or payroll accuracy; document solutions for future reference
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries related to HR and payroll policies via phone or case management system
- Engage in cross-training to expand knowledge across HRSC functions and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Safeguard employee privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Participate in HRSC projects and support colleagues as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or degree (HR or business-related education preferred)
- 1+ year of HR support or administrative experience
- Familiarity with Canadian and/or U.S. HR data, business rules, and pay regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; experience with SAP, SuccessFactors (myHR), Workforce, EZL, SharePoint, and ServiceNow preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues effectively
- Adaptability to change and willingness to learn new technologies and processes
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work overtime or weekends during peak periods
