About the role
- Accountable for overall operations of location (warehousing, logistics, inventory).
- Plan, direct, and manage multi shift distribution.
- Oversee field activities, equipment scheduling, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, leverage of technology, and improved service within the distribution.
- Lead and develop a high performing team to meet goals and work with a cross functional mindset.
- Support the sales team with customer service and marketing activities.
- Provide customer service for internal and external customers.
- Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained at all times by enforcing Company standards and following up on regular safety inspections.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant management experience in vocational agricultural or a combination in supervisory, education, and work experience.
- Agricultural based degree desired.
- Willingness to travel to include market areas in other states.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
