Support daily operations within the Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS), including data entry, recordkeeping, testing and upkeep activities.
Review, enter data, and store documents to support the FSQMS (e.g., co-manufacturer finished product and supplier raw material COAs).
Format documents to new FSQMS templates and complete documentation for customer requests for Quality management review and approval.
Assist Lab Specialist with complaint investigation activities.
Support quality testing of raw materials and finished products.
Maintain product retain inventory and lab supplies; ship samples and ingredients as required.
Requirements
Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS) familiarity desired – Comfortability with food safety and quality concepts relevant to food and beverage manufacturing. Responsible to report food safety concerns immediately.
Strong interpersonal skills – Professional, clear communicator. Capable of switching gears quickly to accommodate needs of business. Team player, able to share workspace and collaborate successfully.
Attention to detail – Extremely detail oriented and organized. Action-oriented individual with can-do attitude. Ability to self-prioritize and work independently. Experience and fluidity in using Microsoft Office applications and web-based systems.
Confidentiality – Maintain security and confidentiality of proprietary company information.
Physical demand – Ability to lift, move, and carry boxes and equipment up to 35lbs.
