• Own the full sales cycle from outbound to close, selling to Founders, CEOs, CFOs, CAOs, Controllers, and Operations leaders at e-commerce companies
• Manage a high-velocity pipeline with precision: run efficient cycles, maintain rigorous CRM hygiene, and ensure successful post-sale onboarding handoffs
• Run world-class discovery and demos, tailoring Numeral’s tax compliance automation to the customer’s unique operational, technical, and financial workflows
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Leadership, Product, and Solutions Engineering to refine messaging, improve win rates, and influence the Numeral roadmap

Account Executive – Commercial

Business Operations

• Launch our product in new countries: Own end-to-end delivery of international launches—from operational research and tooling to stakeholder coordination and SOP development.
• Design scalable tax workflows: Build repeatable, automation-friendly processes for VAT/GST compliance using a combination of RPA tools, SQL, and AI agents.
• Own rollouts from 0–1: Pilot new operational systems, document workflows, train the team, and scale across regions.
• Improve efficiency & automation: Identify bottlenecks, reduce manual execution time, and implement automation and tooling to increase leverage.
• Triage edge cases and escalations: Support customer and internal teams by solving complex international operations issues, then build systems to prevent them in the future.
• Document and scale knowledge: Create internal SOPs and operational guides to ensure the team can scale with quality and consistency.
• Partner across teams: Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Customer Experience to enable seamless rollouts and drive go-to-market success in each region.

Business Operations Manager – International

Data Analyst

• Reconcile customer data, improve data quality, and make the platform smarter and more scalable
• Work closely with Engineering, Product, and CX teams to ensure customers have clean, actionable data and smooth onboarding experiences
• Own rotating high-impact projects end-to-end—from design to implementation to QA
• Track changes in sales tax laws, rates, and regulations across jurisdictions and triage applicability for implementation
• Update and manage internal databases to ensure jurisdiction-level tax rules, rates, and exemptions are accurate and audit-ready
• Generate operational reports and actionable insights from tax data to support compliance, quality assurance, and leadership decision-making
• Coordinate between tax experts, engineers, and customer-facing teams to translate tax regulations into system logic and resolve data-related questions

Data Analyst – Tax

Recruitment

• Own end-to-end hiring across all functions: Engineering, Product, Sales, Ops, and more
• Partner with execs and hiring managers to run role kickoffs, define bar-raising processes, and close top-tier candidates
• Launch and scale recruiting operations: ATS (Ashby), scheduling, dashboards, interviewer calibration, agency coordination
• Manage top-of-funnel sourcing efforts and candidate outreach strategy
• Create best-in-class candidate experience: clear communication, tight feedback loops, and thoughtful touch points
• Track key funnel metrics and recruiting KPIs; build reports to inform hiring decisions
• Help define and scale employer branding, referral campaigns, and internal recruiting enablement

Founding Recruiter

• Reconcile financial and transactional data from multiple sources to enable accurate, repeatable sales tax filings
• Normalize customer data across platforms (e.g. Stripe, Shopify, Numeral API) to ensure integrity in tax workflows
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, Product, and Solutions teams to troubleshoot and resolve onboarding data issues
• Support customer-facing teams with ad hoc data questions, investigations, and insights
• Build internal tooling and processes to streamline reconciliation and improve onboarding throughput
• Improve the fidelity and performance of DBT pipelines and help evolve the broader data architecture

Controller

Numeral is building the automation backbone for internet commerce — starting with sales tax compliance.
Act as Numeral's first Assistant Controller to own accounting operations and quote-to-cash systems.
Own the monthly close: drive reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting; shorten timelines and improve accuracy.
Run accounts payable: lead vendor onboarding, disbursements, and 1099s with strong controls and reliability.
Protect revenue integrity: partner with Sales to enforce pipeline hygiene in Salesforce and ensure Closed-Won → invoice → Stripe → ERP is seamless.
Handle day-to-day RevOps requests: router updates, routing issues, Salesforce errors, and field additions.
Scale systems: lead NetSuite migration and integration with Salesforce/Stripe, including chart of accounts design and data migration.
Enable teams: be the go-to for Salesforce/RevOps requests and reporting to forecast bookings and revenue.

Assistant Controller

Sales

• Numeral is building the automation backbone for internet commerce, starting with sales tax compliance.
• Senior Sales Manager (Commercial / Mid-Market) to lead and grow the mid-market AE team, managing 5+ AEs and owning the mid-market revenue segment.
• Blend hands-on execution with strategic leadership: coaching reps, building repeatable processes, forecasting, and experimentation.
• Lead and scale a team of 5+ mid-market AEs responsible for new ARR generation.
• Own quarterly revenue targets and pipeline forecasts for the commercial segment.
• Coach and ramp AEs through structured onboarding, training, and real-time development.
• Build repeatable playbooks for outbound and inbound sales motions.
• Create structure in ambiguous environments and partner closely with RevOps to optimize systems.
• Drive sales execution excellence using tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and Nooks.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to close feedback loops and improve GTM alignment.
