About the role
- Oversee operations across multiple terminals to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable performance
- Manage costs including non-revenue pay, contracts, and managed services
- Lead initiatives to improve operations through standardization of processes, people, and technology
- Support network optimization efforts across assigned locations
- Partner with Sales to support business needs and customer onboarding
- Coach and develop Driver Managers across assigned terminals
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities
- Lead incident investigations and ensure timely root cause resolution
- Partner with Regional leadership to ensure proper staffing and operational support
- Build strong internal partnerships to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Support strategies that drive growth across assigned markets
Requirements
- College degree required
- 10+ years of experience in the transportation industry
- Strong leadership experience across multiple locations or teams
- Ability to manage performance, control costs, and improve operational efficiency
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
