About the role

  • Provide administrative support to the Sales Service Department
  • Data entry and recordkeeping for all shipping functions
  • Generate and process shipping documents such as bills of lading, manifests, and freight invoices
  • Communicate and interact effectively with CDL drivers, loading crews, jobsite crews and customers
  • Perform department functions as back-up to dispatcher, scheduler, and traffic clerk
  • Any other administrative duties as assigned
  • Willing to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, when required

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficient working with Microsoft Office
  • 2 or 4 year degree in logistics, business administration or related field (preferred)
  • Prior Shipping experience and general trucking knowledge (preferred)
  • Proficient in SAP (preferred)
