About the role
- Provide administrative support to the Sales Service Department
- Data entry and recordkeeping for all shipping functions
- Generate and process shipping documents such as bills of lading, manifests, and freight invoices
- Communicate and interact effectively with CDL drivers, loading crews, jobsite crews and customers
- Perform department functions as back-up to dispatcher, scheduler, and traffic clerk
- Any other administrative duties as assigned
- Willing to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, when required
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficient working with Microsoft Office
- 2 or 4 year degree in logistics, business administration or related field (preferred)
- Prior Shipping experience and general trucking knowledge (preferred)
- Proficient in SAP (preferred)
