About the role
- Advise on and shape transformative projects that modernize nuclear power plant operations, maintenance, engineering, and project delivery
- Guide the adoption of digital tools powered by Building Information Modelling (BIM) principles
- Partner with clients to understand their operational priorities and advise on digital engineering strategies aligned with business objectives
- Shape digital transformation roadmaps and ensure effective integration of BIM/digital engineering platforms (AVEVA, Hexagon, Bentley, Autodesk)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement multi-year modernization strategies
- Lead design reviews and facilitate alignment meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Evaluate market trends and assess emerging tools related to Digital Twins and BIM for practicality and strategic fit
- Contribute to business development by supporting proposals, strategic work plans, and long-term project roadmaps
- Travel to client sites as required by project needs
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of industry-standard BIM and Digital Transformation platforms (e.g., AVEVA, Hexagon, Bentley, Autodesk)
- Expertise in evaluating, standardizing, and governing structured and unstructured data to be leveraged across digital platforms
- Experience guiding the strategic implementation of BIM and digital engineering platforms across brownfield and greenfield environments
- Practical understanding of key information management standards (e.g., CFIHOS, UK BIM Standards PAS 1192, ISO 19650 Series) and exchange methods (IFC, DEXPI, COBie)
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, shape digital strategies, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
