About the role
- Responsible for designing and developing the company's data infrastructure
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Analyze data requirements and ensure integrity and security of the data infrastructure
- Define and manage how data will be stored, consumed, and integrated
- Design and implement data governance communities and workshops
- Analyze existing data systems and identify opportunities for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Advanced demonstrated experience working as a Data Governance Specialist or in a similar role
- Advanced demonstrated experience in developing and implementing data governance strategies, frameworks, and operating models
- Advanced demonstrated experience in developing training materials, conducting data governance workshops, and facilitating knowledge sharing sessions
- Advanced demonstrated experience with data management tools and technologies
- Strong understanding of data governance, data integration, data quality, data lifecycle processes and data management best practices
- Advanced in SQL and experience with database development and performance optimization
- Strong understanding of data security and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
