About the role
- Manage direct accounts and distributors and accomplish financial, sales, and profit targets in the assigned region
- Lead and grow business in assigned territory across Silage, Ruminants, and Poultry in BioSolutions (Probiotics & Enzymes)
- Ensure the channel partner strategy and annual sales objectives and targets are fulfilled or exceeded
- Identify opportunities for customer trials, and marketing initiatives to support product positioning
- Provide commercial support related to product performance at key accounts and channel partners
- Provide the demand planners with a timely sales forecast
- Create annual account plans for key customers and channel partners
- Work with the technical teams to draft and execute the training needs of channel partners
- Ensure timely updates and internal reporting on all business communication
- Maintain account profiles, updated opportunities, and call reports for all direct accounts
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent qualification in veterinary, Agronomy, or life sciences
- Evidenced knowledge of animal nutrition, health, and production of animal nutrition-related products
- At least 5 years' experience in animal health and nutrition-related sales
- Understanding and experience in feed formulations involving probiotics and enzymes is an added advantage
- Excellent track record of building strong customer relationships & techno-commercial execution
- Strong leadership and facilitator competencies with distributors and end-user customers
- Ability to identify customer needs and translate needs into mutually beneficial solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and demonstrated proficiency in MS Office software (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
