About the role
- Develop and implement market access strategies aligned with both local Belux needs and global objectives
- Build, submit, and negotiate pricing and reimbursement files with competent authorities in Belgium and Luxembourg
- Monitor the market access environment, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to proactively identify opportunities and risks
- Use health economic arguments and real-world evidence to support the value of Novo Nordisk products
- Represent Novo Nordisk in industry meetings, task forces, and engagements with key opinion leaders in pricing and reimbursement
- Collaborate with cross-functional brand teams across Medical, Regulatory, Marketing, and Finance to ensure strategic alignment
- Mentor and advise junior Market Access Managers to build team capability
Requirements
- Master's degree in sciences, public health, economics, or a similar field.
- At least 4 years of experience in a market access or pricing & reimbursement role within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience within Cardiometabolic therapeutic area.
- Excellent understanding of the pricing and reimbursement systems in Belgium.
- Experience in Luxembourg is a strong plus.
- Proven track record of successful market access initiatives, including experience setting up real-world evidence projects and managed entry agreements
- Fluent in English, Dutch and French.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to build compelling health economic arguments.
- Solution-oriented mindset with excellent negotiation skills – able to create "win-win" solutions that balance Novo Nordisk priorities with stakeholder needs.
- Team player with a collaborative approach and business acumen, including financial appreciation and understanding of market dynamics.
