About the role

  • Develop and customise Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) modules, including workflows, playbooks, and enrichments
  • Build and maintain integrations with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, and other third-party tools
  • Configure and enhance ITSM modules using scripts, business rules, UI policies, and dashboards
  • Collaborate closely with SOC analysts, Security Analytics, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management teams
  • Ensure platform performance, documentation, and adherence to ServiceNow best practices
  • Run workshops to clarify needs, write user stories, and translate processes into practical configurations
  • Strengthen delivery with testing, documentation, and handover that ensures operational success
  • Guide the roadmap by advising on platform governance, architecture, and incremental value delivery.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
  • Strong experience working with SIR, VR, and ITSM/ SecOps modules in ServiceNow
  • Proven ability to build security workflows, automated playbooks, and remediation logic
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with security tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Tenable, AWS Security Lake
  • Solid understanding of the end‑to‑end security incident and vulnerability lifecycle.
