About the role
- Work in close collaboration with scientific, clinical, and data-focused stakeholders
- Translate complex biological insights into clear value for projects and the broader R&D portfolio
- Drive interpretation and selection of exploratory biomarkers and omics
- Disseminate findings to inform scientific strategy
- Lead and support exploratory data-generation initiatives
- Ensure compliance with Novo Nordisk Quality Systems, Business Ethics, and HBS governance
- Author and review strategic and regulatory documents
Requirements
- PhD, MD, or equivalent advanced scientific degree
- Minimum 8 years of relevant pharma/biotech experience
- Strong scientific grounding, ideally in cardiometabolic or related therapy areas
- Experience with biomarker analysis, omics technologies, and data interpretation
- Solid understanding of clinical development and regulatory processes
- Background in interdisciplinary, international, project-oriented environments
- Clear, engaging communicator
- Proactive, structured, and able to work independently
- Thrives in dynamic, cross-functional settings
- Strong integrity and cultural awareness
- Effective collaboration across teams
