About the role

  • Drive the development and execution of Real World Evidence Strategy and Evidence and Insights Generation Plans (EIGP) across all therapeutic area portfolios
  • Provide strategic alignment of clinical and real-world data resources with business objectives
  • Support business cases for innovative solutions through presentations to management
  • Lead and manage local studies, including RWE, clinical, and observational investigator-sponsored studies (ISS)
  • Manage and develop a team; set priorities, coach performance, and build RWE capabilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including key opinion leaders, RWE vendors, and global counterparts, to develop and implement innovative RWE solutions
  • Scout and evaluate novel real-world data sources and methodologies to enhance insights and decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, Novo Nordisk policies, and quality standards
  • Provide training and education on real-world evidence and clinical data sources as needed

Requirements

  • A PhD, Masters, MD, or PharmD degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g., health economics, epidemiology, outcomes research, public health, biostatistics, medicine, biomedical sciences)
  • Strong knowledge and experience in designing innovative trials and real-world evidence studies
  • Good knowledge of healthcare data and applications, pharmaceutical industry and clinical research
  • Experience as a people manager, with direct reports
  • Excellent collaboration skills and proven success working in a crossfunctional and matrix environment
